Nontaxable Transactions

Certain transactions may be eligible for nontaxable status. These transactions include purchases specifically intended for resale and purchases by government entities, 501(c)(3) organizations, federal or state-chartered credit unions and Indian tribes, nations or pueblos. Customers wishing to engage in nontaxable transactions must follow the regulations set forth by The State of New Mexico Taxation and Revenue Department. These regulations and information regarding the use of NTTC forms are available in the Tax Information/Policy Office document FYI-204. Additional Information may be found at The State of New Mexico Taxation and Revenue Department website. To qualify for nontaxable transactions with, a business or organization must execute an acceptable nontaxable transaction certificate (NTTC).

Follow the simple steps outlined below to set up your non-taxable status.

Follow these steps on NTTC-Net:
  • Enter your CRS number on the Tax Payer Logon page.
  • Enter your password and click "Login" (if you haven't registered for NTTC-Net access, you will have to do so).
  • Under the "Buyer/Lessee Functions" menu at the top left, select "Execute NTTC".
  • Follow the numbered steps below on the Execute NTTC page:

Step 1. Select the type of NTTC form you would like to execute.

Step 2. Select "Seller/Lesser with NM CRS ID"

Step 3. Enter our CRS number in the "NM Seller/Lessor CRS ID" field. It is: 02373879000.

Select "Retrieve NM Seller/Lessor Information".
The business information for Don Mickey Designs, Inc. will be displayed.

Step 4. Select "Execute".
